Oh, January

So as we all know... it is cold.  And snowy. And we are all over it.  I know that the grass is always greener BUT... It makes me sad to see all of the posts these days from Mommy after Mommy that is sick of being with their kiddos.  Even though Brianna is getting cabin fever and is quite a handful I wish every single day I leave for work that I didn't have to.  Yes, work offers a nice break from home and potty training and the destruction that an almost three year old makes all day long but I'd trade work in a heartbeat to be there.  So suck it up, buttercup.  Enjoy the snow days with your babies.  You'll miss them when they are gone.

On a more positive note, it is a big day today!  Happy Birthday, Graham!!!!!!!!  He is a year old today. And sweeter than ever.  Tara and Matt are always impressing me with their ability to balance everything and parent one of the happiest little boys I've ever known.  The first birthday is a huge milestone and what a year it has been.  This baby boy had a rough start and this year has brought so many ups and downs but he is such a constant joy to so many people.  I hope Tara, Matt and Graham are all feeling lots of love today.  Love you guys!  I can't wait to celebrate Saturday!

Kasey Lee Cornett was born on January 14th and made me an Aunt again and Brianna has a new cousin.  He is so sweet!
